On Tuesday, April 28th i4Y is hosting the annual YEDI Scholar Research Poster Symposium in Berkeley Way West, Room 1104 from 2:30-4:30pm.
Youth Equity Discovery Initiative (YEDI) is a training program providing research apprenticeship and mentorship to undergraduates working on faculty-led youth equity research. YEDI scholars will present research from Dr. Colette Auerswald, Dr. Sean Darling-Hammond, Dr. Eos Trinidad, Dr. David Levine, Dr. Dana Miller-Cotto, Dr. Emily Ozer, Dr. Marieka Schotland, Dr. Jennifer Skeem, and Dr. Hannah Thompson! Presentation topics include: Aggression Prevention • Context & Children’s Development • Youth Participatory Action Research • Research Translation • Oral Health Equity & Absenteeism • Physical & Socioemotional Development • School Exclusionary Discipline • Social Media & Mental Health • Estimating Homeless Youth Populations • Networks Supporting Homeless Youth • Health Promotion in Schools • Student Dropout Interventions
