The YEDI/LEAP Fellowship is an annual opportunity open to Youth Equity Discovery Initiative (YEDI) undergraduate scholars. This year, five fellows were selected and participated in the YEDI Summer Evaluation and Planning Team, and they worked together to develop the 2024-25 YEDI Evaluation Summary. Undergraduate scholars selected for this fellowship have demonstrated leadership, passion, and commitment to supporting the health and well-being of MCAH populations.

On May 8th, 2025, Coco Auerswald, i4Y Faculty Co-Director, was honored with Larkin Street Youth Services’ Anne B. Stanton Award, during the Paving the Way Gala. The Award celebrates her dedication to improving housing, healthcare, and public health for youth experiencing homelessness.

On Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, the talk “How Local Organizations Shape US Education” explores how organizations outside schools have created an invisible infrastructure not only to affect local school districts but also to shape US education. It will be led by SFUSD-RPP Steering Committee Member, Jose Eos Trinidad with panelists, Gloria Lee and Karling Aguilera-Fort. A panel discussion will follow the talk. It will take place at Berkeley Way West / via Zoom from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
