Youth Equity Discovery Initiative (YEDI)

YEDI, our Youth Equity Discovery Initiative, is an initiative of the Berkeley Discovery Initiative, that seeks to expand the discovery experience for undergraduates interested in issues of youth equity. Our YEDI scholars program (formerly known as YES - Youth Equity Scholars) is a year-long research mentorship and apprenticeship program that scaffolds students working on research projects through cascading mentorship, skill-building workshops, and professional development.
