UC Berkeley was recently awarded the Student Voice 4-RPPs Award from the National Network of Education Research-Practice Partnerships (NNERPP). This award is meant to recognize, honor, and support youth involvement in research-practice partnerships.

Professor Ozer (PI), along with our i4Y affiliate from UC Berkeley School of Social Welfare Susan Stone (co-PI) and SFUSD Supervisor of Research & Evaluation Norma Ming (agency PI) as well as many other collaborators, have initiated a cross-disciplinary and cross-sector Research-Practice Partnership (RPP) to enhance SFUSD research utilization and improvement routines by incorporating youth voice and youth-led participatory action research (YPAR), with particular efforts focused on the current COVID-19 crisis in K-12 education.
